A testimonial by Foreign Minister Taro Aso was recently received by HICARE. Date: July 10, 2006 Reason: HICARE's international activities for last 15 years, supporting health-care for radiation victims in various parts of the world, including those of the Chernobyl accident. Comment by HICARE President Hiroo Dohy: I believe that the Foreign Minister's testimonial was bestowed on everyone involved with HICARE's activities, from Dr. Itsuzo Shigematu, the first HICARE president to all the many people who have supported HICARE's activities. I hope very much that such cooperation continues from now long into the future.
