- I learned about the potential long-term health risks of repeated CT scans. I realized
the importance of being more careful in considering whether such tests are truly necessary.
- I gained a deeper understanding of Hiroshima and the risks of radiation exposure. I hope to apply
this knowledge in caring for patients in need in Los Angeles.
- This program was very educational and deepened my understanding and awareness of how to
care for people at risk of radiation exposure and those in need of treatment.
-This training reminded me how important it is to keep monitoring the health of atomic bomb
survivors. In their annual checkups, I will be careful not to miss any signs of long-term effects.
- Learning about the history of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, especially listening to survivors'
testimony, was extremely meaningful. I would like to discuss with the provincial government how
we can support HICARE's activities in Vancouver.
