Comments:

Here in Japan, I participated in research concerning A-bomb survivors, that is, research on the effects of radiation on the human body, especially on the blood system. Through contact with other medical specialists, I was able to obtain a great deal of knowledge. In addition, I observed and learned various inspection techniques using state-of-the-art equipment that is currently available in the world.

After returning to Brazil, I would like to do my best to improve the quality of service for A-bomb survivors living in Brazil. Moreover, I wish to contribute to the development of pediatric care by sharing the knowledge that I acquired in Japan, particularly the realities of people affected by radiation, with other pediatric specialists working in the pediatric care field.
